Heard Mr.K.Sudhakar for the petitioner and Dr.T.Seenivasan for the respondent.

2.The petitioner challenges the re-auction for shop bearing Nos. 14 and 15.

3. When the matter came up yesterday(25.02.2026), Dr.T.Seenivasan took time to get instructions.

4. When I took it up today, Dr.T.Seenivasan states that after the writ petition had been filed, the petitioner, Mohammed Abdullah, had approached the respondent and has given a letter stating that the advance of Rs.5 lakhs that was given by him for taking shop Nos. 14 and 15, may be adjusted towards the

re-auction that was proposed to be held on 25.02.2026.

4. Pursuant to the letters given, the auction was conducted for shop Nos. 14 and 15. Since there was an interim direction in this writ petition, the auction has not been confirmed. The letters that have been given by the petitioner to the respondents are scanned and extracted hereunder:- "

5. As the subsequent letter given by the petitioner removes the cause of action for the present writ petition, the writ petition stands dismissed. In case, the writ petitioner is not successful in the re-auction, the amounts deposited by
