ORDER
Mr.M.Velmurugan, Deputy Superintendent of Police, CB-CID, Kancheepuram and Mrs.N.Thirupurasundari, Inspector of Police, CB-CID, Kancheepuram are present before this Court.
2. When the matter was taken up for hearing today, an affidavit of the Deputy Superintendent of Police, CB-CID, Kancheepuram was filed and the relevant portion is extracted hereunder:- "10. I respectfully submit that on 03.06.2025 a letter has been sent to the Branch Manager, Tamil Nadu Mercantile Bank, Anna Nagar, Chennai for favour of de-freeze the account No.158100050305695 of V.G.S.Rajesh Associated which is running by the petitioner/accused A1 and the account was freezing by the CBCID on 20.08.2022." It is clear from the above that the police has already sent a communication dated 03.06.2025 to the second respondent Bank requesting for de-freezing the bank account of the petitioner.
3. In the light of the above stand taken, it is clear that the bank
account of the petitioner has already been de-freezed and it is left open to the petitioner to operate the bank account. This contempt petition is, accordingly, closed.
