Crl.M.P.No.10625 of 2024 in Crl.OP.No.17903 of 2024 Crl.M.P.No.10625 of 2024 in Crl.OP.No.17903 of 2024 N.SESHASAYEE.J., This miscellaneous petition is filed to dispense with the appearance of the petitioner in C.C.No.1/1998 on the file of XIII Additional Court for CBI cases, Chennai.

2. The main petition in Crl.OP.No.17903 of 2024 is filed challenging the final report in C.C.No.1/1998 filed by the respondent before the XIII Additional City Civil Court [Special Court for CBI cases], Chennai and for quashing the same.

3. The learned Prosecutor informed the Court that a similarly placed accused had preferred a petition before this Court for an identical relief which came to be dismissed by this Court. And he had preferred SLP in SLP(Crl) No.6692of 2015 and the Hon'ble Supreme Court vide its order dated 24.08.2015 had stayed all further proceedings in this case.

5. In view of the orders of Hon'ble Supreme Court, it would be only appropriate that this Court lays its hands off for the present. Till such time, the presence of the petitioner required by the trial Court, is dispensed from appearing.
