O R D E R

This Criminal Revision Petition is filed by the convicted accused to call for the records and revise the Judgment dated 14.10.2011 in Crl.A.No.78 of 2008 passed by the learned Additional District and Sessions Judge, Fast Tract Court No.I, Salem, confirming the conviction and sentence dated 22.04.2008 in C.C.No.232 of 2004 by the learned Judicial Magistrate, No.2, Salem.

Today, i.e. 07.09.2018, the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner would submit that during the pendency of this Criminal Revision, the petitioner/A 1 namely Kuppusamy died on 14.12.2017 and to that effect, a Memo has been filed by the respondent / Police, which is enclosed with the Death Certificate of Kuppusamy / petitioner herein and hence the proceedings stands abated.

Recording the above submission made by the learned counsel for the petitioner, the Criminal Revision Petition is dismissed as abated. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is closed.
