O R D E R

The petitioner worked as Driver and on attaining the age of superannuation, he retired from service on 31.01.2014. It is the grievance of the petitioner that not withstanding his retirement on 31.01.2014, he was not given the retirement benefits. The petitioner submitted a representation on 01.12.2014, requesting the second respondent to disburse the benefits. The present request is to direct the said respondent to consider the representation on merits.

2. The second respondent is directed to consider and dispose of the representation submitted by the petitioner dated 01.12.2014 on merits and as per law and by taking into account his superannuation on 31.01.2014. Such exercise shall be completed within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

3. The writ petition is disposed of with the above direction. No costs.
