ORDER

This Criminal Original Petition has been filed to call for the records in Crime No.519 of 2015 and transfer the investigation in Crime No.519 of 2015 pending on the file of respondent police to some other competent investigating agency.

2. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Government Advocate (Criminal Side) for the respondent.

3. The learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that the petitioner lodged a complaint before the respondent police on 05.09.2015, the respondent police has registered a case against the two unknown persons in Crime No.519 of 2015, for an offence under Section 379 of IPC. Till date, there is no progress in the investigation.

4. Considering the facts and circumstances of the case, this Court directs the immediate Superior Officer/Deputy Superintendent of Police, Cholavaram, Thiruvallur to monitor the investigation conducted by the respondent police in connection with Cr.No.519 of 2015. Further, the respondent police is directed to conduct enquiry and complete the investigation and file a final report within a period of three months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

With the above direction, this Criminal Original Petition disposed of.
