The petitioner/Accused in Crime No.163 of 2023, registered by the respondent police for the offence under Section 6 of POCSO Act, 2012, and remanded to judicial custody on 05.11.2023, seeks bail. 2.It is stated that aggravated penetrative sexual offence had been committed by the petitioner on the victim child. 3.The learned counsel for the petitioner stated that the petitioner is aged 21 years and the victim is aged 14 years and he is ready to marry the victim girl. 4.The learned Public Prosecutor (Union Territory of Puducherry) for the respondent pointed out that the petitioner had taken photos of the victim girl and he is threatening the victim girl that he will post the said photographs in social media. As on date the victim girl is a vulnerable witness in this case and she requires protection.

5.The earlier application seeking bail was dismissed by this Court on 27.02.2024 in Crl.O.P.No.1478 of 2024.
6.Let the trial progress. I am not inclined to grant bail to the petitioner. Accordingly, this Criminal Original Petition is dismissed. 22.03.2024 ata 2/3
