ORDER
The present Writ Petition has been filed seeking a direction to the Respondents 1-7 to consider the petitioners representation dated 16-02-2026 objecting the illegal erection of High -Tension Transmission Tower AP- 49 in the petitioners land in survey Nos.129/2A1 and 129/2A2 at Kadaiyur Village, Kangeyam Taluk, Tirupur District and for a consequential direction to the Respondents 1-7 to restore the original approved alignment.
2. Mr.R.Murthy, learned Government takes notice on behalf of the 1st and 7th respondent. Mr.D.R.Arun Kumar, learned Standing Counsel takes notice on behalf of respondent nos.2 to 6. As no adverse order is passed against the 7th respondent, notice to the 7th respondent is dispensed with.

It is the case of the petitioner that, though initially, the high-tension transmission towers were proposed to be erected in the property belonging to the 8th respondent who is the adjacent land owner, the respondent board has instead, erected towers in the land belonging to the petitioner and is proposing to erect yet another tower in the petitioner's land by the respondent board. Apprehending, serious damage to his property, the petitioner submitted a detailed representation dated 13.02.2026 requesting the respondents to restore the originally approved alignment, but the same has not elicited any response and, therefore, in order to espouse the said cause, the present writ petition has been filed.
4. Learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submitted that, it would suffice, if this Court issues a direction to the 6th respondent to consider the petitioner's representation dated 13.02.2026 and pass appropriate orders on the same within the time that may be stipulated by this Court.
5. On the above contention, this Court heard the learned Government Advocate as well as the learned Standing Counsel appearing for the respondents.
6. In view of the limited relief sought for in this Writ Petition, this Court without expressing any opinion on the merits of the case, directs the 6th respondent to consider the petitioner's representation dated 13.02.2026 and pass appropriate orders on the same in accordance with law within a period of six (6) weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order, after affording an opportunity of hearing to the petitioner and any other interested parties.
7. This Writ Petition stands disposed of with the aforesaid direction. There shall be no order as to costs. Consequently, connected Miscellaneous Petition is closed.

2. When the matter is taken up, it is brought to the notice of this Court, that a typographical error has crept in the order dated 05.03.2026 wherein, in para 3, 4 & 6, the date of representation given by the petitioner has inadvertently been mentioned as 13.02.2026 instead of 16.02.2026 and therefore, he prays that necessary corrections may be made in the said portion of the order.
3. This Court perused the case bundle and finds that the date of representation of the petitioner has been mentioned as 13.02.2026 instead of 16.02.2026. Hence, the date of representation in para 3,4 & 6 of the order dated 05.03.2026 shall stand substituted as 16.02.2026.
4. Registry is directed to carry out the above correction and issue fresh order copy to the parties forthwith. Other portions of the order dated 05.03.2026 shall remain intact.
