ORDER

In spite of positive directions given for promotion as per the Rule in the writ petition, the official respondents have not effected any promotion for more than two years. Due to that, many senior police personnel unconnected with the issue in the writ petition have suffered a lot and some of them retired from service. Therefore this Court directs the respondents 1 to 3 to draw year-wise panel of the eligible candidates from 2013 in the light of the order passed in W.P.No.30956 of 2013. So that, those personnel should get respective panel or at least, notional promotion/promotion and consequential service benefits. The said exercise has to be done within twelve weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

2. With the above direction, this Contempt Petition is disposed of. Consequently, the connected Sub Applications are closed.
