ORDER

The petitioner has filed the present writ petition for a Mandamus, directing the respondent to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 25.10.2011 and to issue a Rectified Legal - Heirship Certificate with a correct date of death as 07.12.1985 of M.Dakshinamurthy Naicker.

2. The father of the petitioner is M.Dakshinamurthy Naicker. According to the petitioner his father died on 07.12.1985. He has also enclosed the Death Certificate to establish the date. He had also obtained a legal heir certificate in which, the date of death of his father had been wrongly given as 02.10.1985. To correct and to provide the actual date of death, the learned counsel for the petitioner had given a representation, on which, no action had been taken.

3. The respondent, Tahsildhar, Tambaram Taluk, is directed to enquire into the issue and pass necessary orders within a period of four weeks. However, the petitioner should co-operate with the Tahsildar by producing necessary records in the nature burial ground/crematorium records, as mere information and assertion of the date by the petitioner would not suffice. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

4. The writ petition is disposed of. No costs.
