ORDER

This Court, while disposing the writ petition in W.P.No.14183 of 2016, by order dated 27.04.2016, has directed the 1st respondent-Tahsildar, Shlinganallur to consider the representation of the petitioner, after verifying with the Tamil Nadu Housing Board as to whether any Special Leave Petition has been preferred before the Hon'ble Supreme Court, and thereafter to pass appropriate order on merits and in accordance with law, after affording opportunity of personal hearing to the petitioner, within a period of eight weeks.

2.Alleging non-compliance of the order dated 27.04.2016, the present contempt petition has been filed by the petitioner.

3.Today, when the matter is taken up, the learned Senior Counsel appearing for the petitioner as well as the learned Government Advocate appearing for the respondents submitted that the order of this Court has been complied with by the respondents.

4.Since the order of this Court has been complied with, nothing survives in this contempt petition and accordingly, the same is closed.
