For Petitioner in both WPs : Mr.N.Kumar Rajan For Respondents in both WPs : Mr.D.Raja for RR1 to 3 Additional Government Pleader COMMON ORDER These writ petitions have been filed by the petitioner to direct the first respondent to pass an order based on the representations made by the petitioner dated 10.11.2018 to give interest from the year 2009 to till date towards the land acquisition of the petitioner's properties.

2.According to the learned counsel for the petitioner, the petitioner made representations to the 3rd respondent on 10.11.2018 with regard to the land acquisition of the petitioner's properties. However, no order has been passed on the petitioner's representations till date. Hence the petitioner filed these writ petitions.

3.The learned Additional Government Pleader submitted that the petitioner cannot seek the interest from the year 2009, as the petitioner is only entitled for the interest as per statutory provisions under the Act.

4.In view of the above submissions made by the learned counsel counsel for the petitioner and the learned Additional Government Pleader, this Court directs the 3rd respondent to consider the petitioner's representations dated 10.11.2018 and pass appropriate orders on merits and in accordance with law, as early as possible preferably, within a period of twelve weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. 5.With the above direction, the writ petitions are disposed of.
