(CRIME NO.115/2013) Petitions praying that in the circumstances stated therein and in the affidavit filed therewith the High Court will be pleased to (i)Extend the time the surrender the date of petitioners from 31.03.2022 to 08.04.2022 Crl.M.P.No.2722/2022 in Crl.A.427/20 to secure the ends of Justice.

[CRL.MP.NO.4281/2022 IN CRL.A.NO.427/2020] (ii)Enlarge the petitioner on interim Bail for Two Months on humane Consideration, pending disposal of CRL.A.NO.427/2020 on the file of this Hon`ble High court and thus render justice. [CRL.MP.NO.2722/2022 IN CRL.A.NO.427/2020]

Order : These petitions coming on for orders upon perusing the petitions and the filed in support thereof and upon hearing the arguments of M/S. R.SANKARASUBBU, Advocate for the petitioner [IN BOTH PETITIONS]and of MR.R.MUNIYAPPARAJ Additional Public Prosecutor [IN BOTH PETITIONS]on behalf of the Respondents the court made the following order:- (Order of the Court was made by P.N.PRAKASH, J.) In Crl.M.P.No.2722 of 2022, this Court, by order dated 15.03.2022, granted interim suspension of sentence and bail to the petitioners, for attending their mother's death ceremonies, with a condition that they should surrender before the trial Court on 31.03.2022 at 10.30 a.m. The instant miscellaneous petition has been filed by the petitioners seeking extension of time for surrendering before the trial Court, on the ground that the communication from the trial Court to the Central Prison, Vellore, was misdirected and it reached the Central Prison, Vellore, only on 23.03.2022 and the petitioners were released on bail.

2. Mr.R.Sankarasubbu, learned counsel for the petitioners contended that in such circumstances, time may be extended for the petitioners to surrender before the trial Court. He also assured that the petitioners would not adopt any dilatory tactics and that, they would surrender before the trial Court on 04.04.2022.

3. Recording the above submission of Mr.R.Sankarasubbu, this Court extends time till 04.04.2022, for the petitioners to surrender them before the trial Court at 10.30 a.m., failing which, the trial Court shall issue warrant to secure them and remand them in judicial custody.

With the above direction, this miscellaneous petition stands closed.
