These Writ Petitions were filed in the year 2011, and admittedly, the period of licence, even if granted, will be only for one year, and that period also lapsed. Under these circumstances, no useful purpose would be achieved in keeping these Writ Petitions pending. Accordingly, these Writ Petitions are dismissed. No costs.
