This Criminal Original Petition has been filed to direct the respondent not to harass the petitioner unlawfully. 2.
When the matter is taken up for hearing, Mr.V.Meganathan, learned Government Advocate (crl. side) would submit that no case is pending against the petitioner as of now on the file of the respondent. However, he would submit that on the complaint of the petitioner, enquiry has been conducted in CSR No.507 of 2021 and the same is pending on the file of the respondent. The petitioner is being called for enquiry in respect of his complaint. Other than that the respondent police is not harassing the petitioner.
3. It is made clear that since there is no complaint against the petitioner, the respondent shall not unnecessarily harass the petitioner under the guise of enquiry.
4. With the above direction, this Criminal Original Petition stands disposed of.
