The above petition has been filed to condone the delay of 1721 days in representing the above S.A.SR.No.52670 of 2015. 2.The reasons given for the said delay is that the counsel had sent a communication to the party asking for certain papers which have to be filed along with the appeal for representation, however the letter sent by the counsel has not reached the appellant and it was only during January 2020, he contacted his counsel regarding the progress of the case and he was informed about the letter that had been sent by his counsel asking for some details to represent the appeal, which details has not been given to the counsel on time due to postal transit and COVID impediments. Hence, the delay of 1721 days occurred.

3.Considering the fact that sufficient reasons have been given though there is opposition by the respondent counsel for the said reasons, this Court is inclined to allow this petition.
