When it is pointed out by the Learned Standing Counsel appearing for the Respondents that the nature of grievance ventilated by the Petitioner in the representation dated https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

19.02.2018 for allotment of Plot No. 119 in Phase - I under Melamiyur Scheme situated in NGGO Nagar, Chengalpattu - 603 001, for disposal of which direction has been sought in the Writ Petition cannot be considered inasmuch as the Petitioner is in unlawful occupation of the said land, Learned Counsel for the Petitioner seeks permission of this Court to withdraw the Writ Petition with liberty to participate in auction, if conducted in future, for sale of the said land and he has made an endorsement to that effect, which is recorded.

Accordingly, the Writ Petition is dismissed as withdrawn granting such liberty. It is hastened to clarify here that no view has been expressed by this Court on the entitlement or correctness of the claim made by the Petitioner with regard to the said land. No costs.
