Mr.D.Raja, learned Additional Government Pleader takes notice for the respondents. By consent of the learned counsel appearing for the parties, the Writ Petition is taken up for final hearing.

2. The petitioner has come forward with the present Writ Petition seeking direction to the respondents to pass orders on the representation of the petitioner dated 20.10.2014, 12.02.2017 & 15.01.2018.

3. According to the petitioner, he became the owner of the property in Survey No.606/2B of Pitamadai Village, Madukkarai in Coimbatore, by virtue of the Will dated 18.05.1991. After the demise of the original owner, viz., Ammukutty Amma, the petitioner applied for transfer of patta in his name. Since there was no response, he filed W.P.No.408 of 2018 and only thereafter, he came to know that the land to an extent of 10100 sq.ft. was acquired by the respondent. Subsequently, the petitioner made several representations seeking compensation. Since there was no response, the present Writ Petition.

4. The learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that the petitioner would be satisfied, if a direction is issued to the respondent to consider the representations of the petitioner.

5. The learned Additional Government Pleader submitted that the representations of the petitioner would be considered in accordance with law.

6. In the light of the submissions of the learned counsels on either side and taking into consideration the facts of the case, this Court, without going into the merits of the case, directs the respondent to consider the representations of the petitioner, dated 20.10.2014, 12.02.2017 & 15.01.2018, and pass appropriate orders on merits and in accordance with law, after providing an opportunity of hearing the necessary parties, within period of twelve weeks.

7. With the above direction, the Writ Petition is disposed of. No costs.
