Respondents [in all W.Ps.] COMMON PRAYER: Writ Petitions have been filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India to issue a Writ of Mandamus, to direct the respondents 2 and 3 to consider and dispose of petitioners' representation dated 20.02.2017 by bringing the petitioners into regular time scale of pay of Rs.2550-50-2650 w.e.f. 23.02.2006 onwards and to pay the difference in salary with all arrears.

For Petitioner : Mr.K.M.Ramesh [in all W.Ps.] For Respondents : Mr.T.M.Pappiah [in all W.Ps.] Special Government Pleader C O M M O N O R D E R By consent, these Writ Petitions are taken up and disposed of at the stage of admission itself.

2. The claim of the petitioners is that they employed as casual labourers for maintenance of Overhead Tank / Watchman on consolidated pay of Rs.100/- per month. Thereafter, they were continued as casual labourers without regularisation of their services. Therefore, the petitioners submitted representations dated 20.02.2017 before the respondents 2 and 3 seeking to regularise their services as per G.O.Ms.No.21 dated 23.02.2006. But till date no orders have been passed and hence, the petitioners are before this Court.

3. Heard Mr.K.M.Ramesh, learned counsel appearing for the petitioners. Mr.T.M.Pappiah, learned Special Government Pleader appearing for the respondents, who sought reasonable time to consider the representations made by the petitioners. 4.

Considering the limit relief sought for by the petitioners, this Court directs the respondents 2 and 3 to consider the representations of the petitioners dated 20.02.2017 and pass appropriate orders, on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of ten weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

5. With this direction, the Writ Petitions are disposed of accordingly. No costs.
