Application No.2256 of 2022 in O.P.No.385 of 2016 KRISHNAN RAMASAMY, J., This Application has been filed to order payment out of Rs.2,84,733/- (Rupees Two Lakhs Eighty Four Thousand Seven Hundred and Thirty Three only) together with interest lying to the credit of O.P.No.385 of 2016 with Indian Bank, Madras High Court Branch, Chennai to the Applicant/1st Respondent in O.P.No.385 of 2016.

2. The learned counsel appearing for the Applicant submitted that as per the order passed by this Court, pending disposal of the O.P., in A.No.2593 of 2016 on 10.06.2016, M/s. Multi Commodity Exchange of India remitted a sum of Rs.2,11,431.50(Rupees two lakhs eleven thousand four hundred and thirty one and fifty paise only) by way of demand draft in favour of the Registrar General, High Court, Madras and the Registry has deposited the amount in a fixed deposit with Indian Bank, Madras High Court Branch. He further submitted that since the O.P. itself was dismissed by this Court, he seeks permission of this Court to withdraw the aforesaid amount lying in the credit of the above O.P. He also fairly submitted that he is not interested to file an Appeal against the order of O.P.No.385 of 2016.
