O R D E R

The petitioner has filed the above Writ Petition to issue a Writ of mandamus directing the 3rd respondent to issue individual patta to the petitioner's house plot of an extent of 2,580 sq.ft., situated at No.91, Koladi Village in Plot No.17 in Survey No.162/1, Koladi Village, Thiruverkadu Township, Thiruvallur District pursuant to the representation dated 14.10.2013.

2.It is the case of the petitioner that though the petitioner has given a representation as early as on 14.10.2013 for issuance of separate patta, the 3rd respondent has not passed any order so far.

3.Ms.A.Madhumathi, learned Special Government Pleader appearing for the respondents submitted that the 3rd respondent may be directed to consider the petitioner's representation dated 14.10.2013 and pass orders in accordance with law within a period of twelve weeks.

4.Having regard to the submissions made by the learned Special Government Pleader appearing for the respondents, taking into consideration the limited prayer sought for in the Writ Petition, without expressing any opinion with regard to the merits of the case, I direct the 3rd respondent to consider the petitioner's representation dated 14.10.2013 and pass orders, on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of twelve weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

5.With these observations, the Writ Petition is disposed of. No costs.
