[Respondent] Petition filed under Section 11 of the Contempt of Courts Act, 1971, to punish the respondent herein for the wilful and deliberate disobedience of the order passed by this Court in W.P.No.36035 of 2015 dated 16.11.2015.

O R D E R

In compliance of the order passed by this Court on 16.11.2015 in W.P.No.36035 of 2015, an order has been passed by the respondent in No.742/B2/2015 dated 06.09.2016, and a copy of the same has also been produced before this Court.

2.It appears that the enquiry initiated by the respondent has also been challenged in a writ petition in W.P.No.4315 of 2016. While it is the case of the respondent that an order has been passed in the said writ petition to postpone the enquiry, the same is disputed by the learned counsel for the petitioner. Be that as it may, this Court does not find any wilful disobedience of the order passed by this Court, particularly when the subsequent writ petition filed is pending on the file of this Court in which the present petitioner is also a party. The petitioner has also taken part in the said writ petition. 3.In such view of the matter, this Court is not inclined to keep this contempt petition pending any longer. Hence, the contempt petition is closed. The petitioner is at liberty to work out his remedy in the pending writ petition.
