This Criminal Original Petition has been filed seeking for a direction to the respondent to complete the investigation of a case in Crime No.179 of 2021 on the file of the respondent and subsequently direct the respondent to file the final report within a stipulated period.
2. When the matter is taken up for hearing, Mr.V.Meganathan, learned Government Advocate (crl. side) would submit that investigation in Crime No.179 of 2021 for the offences under Sections 294(b), 323, 324, 341 and 506(ii) of IPC is going on and the respondent will be able to complete the enquiry and file the final report within a period of six months.
