W.P.No.14906 of 2015 filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India seeking Writ of Mandamus directing the respondents to furnish the petitioner's answer sheet in respect of the Group-I Preliminary examination conducted by the Tamil Nadu Public Service Commission on 20.07.2014, so as to enable the petitioner to approach the Tamil Nadu Public Service Commission to rectify the mistakes committed by them and consequently include the name of the petitioner for the main Group-I examination.

W.P.No.15358 of 2015 filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India seeking Writ of Mandamus directing the respondent to permit the petitioners with Register Nos.100136139 and 001005159 respectively, to appear for the main examination for the post of Group-I services scheduled on 05.06.2015, 06.06.2015 and 07.06.2015. They appeared for Group-I Preliminary Examination. Now the Main Examination is to take place from 05.06.2015 to 07.06.2015. They have filed these writ petitions to permit them to appear in the main examination.

2. In the circumstances, this Court by orders dated 02.06.2015 and 03.06.2015, directed the Tamil Nadu Public Service Commission to produce the records and also to file an affidavit giving details

about the cut-off mark in each category. The records are produced and an affidavit is also filed. As per the affidavit, the cut-off mark for BC category is 187.5 and those who obtained 187.5 and above marks are permitted to write Main Examination.

3. In paragraph No.2 of the affidavit, filed by the Tamil Nadu Public Service Commission, it is sated that the petitioner Ram Kumar in W.P.No.13826 of 2015 obtained 94.5 marks, the petitioner Lysander David Sing in W.P.No.14906 of 2015 obtained 130.5 marks and the petitioner Suresh in W.P.No.15358 of 2015 obtained 82.5 marks.

4. I have perused the affidavit and also the original answer sheet as well as the computer sheet relating to the marks obtained by the petitioners. Since the petitioner did not obtain the cut-off mark, I am not inclined to give direction as prayed for. Hence, these writ petitions fail and the same are dismissed. No costs. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petitions are closed.
