Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India seeking issuance of a writ of mandamus directing the 1st Respondent herein to issue necessary direction to the respondents No.2 and 3 to give electricity connection to the petitioner's agricultural land bearing S.No.206/5, situated at Vadugapoondi Village, Melmalaiyanur Taluk, Villupuram District, based on the petitioner's representation dated 24.07.2020 made to the 1st respondent by in person herein.

ORDER
The petitioner an agriculturist applied for agricultural service connection for his lands bearing S.No.206/5 at Vadugapoondi Village, Melmalaiyanur Taluk, Villupuram District on 18.3.2014 and since the same has not been considered he has https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/
filed this writ petition for necessary direction to the respondents for effecting electricity service connection to the petitioner's agricultural lands.
2. Mr.Varunkumar, learned Standing Counsel for the respondent takes notice for the respondents.
3. Considering the limited relief sought for in the writ petition, without expressing anything on the merits of the representation, the writ petition is disposed of with a direction to the second respondent- Executive Engineer, Tamil Nadu Generation and Distribution Corporation Limited (TANGEDCO), Gingee, Villupuram District to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 24.7.2020 and take a decision thereon within a period of six weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. No costs.
