ORDER

(Order of the Court was made by SATISH K. AGNIHOTRI, J.) The petitioner has filed this writ petition seeking a writ of mandamus to direct respondents 1 to 3 herein to take appropriate action against the 4th respondent on the basis of his representation dated 11.04.2015 to take all measures to prevent the 4th respondent from making any further unauthorized construction at Door No.66, Anna Main Road, MGR Nagar, Chennai - 600 078 by sealing the said premises and demolish the same.

2. Heard the learned counsel appearing on either side. Considering the scope of the relief sought for in this writ petition, we propose to dispose of the writ petition at this stage. The petitioner has made representation on 11.4.2015 to the Assistant Engineer and Zonal Officer of the Corporation of Chennai and also Member Secretary, CMDA alleging some encroachment on the public street. The respondent authorities are directed to examine the representation dated 11.4.2015 made by the petitioner and take necessary action in accordance with law and on merits within a period of six weeks from the date of receipt of copy of this order after adhering to the basic principles of natural justice.
