ORDER

This Court, while disposing of the petition in Crl.O.P.No.610 of 2016, by order dated 11.01.2016, directed the respondent to conduct an enquiry on the complaint dated

24.06.2015 given by the petitioner and upon enquiry, if materials are gathers indicating commission of any cognizable offence, he is directed to proceed further in accordance with law, as early as possible.

2.Alleging non-compliance of the said order dated 11.01.2016, the present contempt petition has been filed by the petitioner.

3.Today, when the matter is taken up, a counter affidavit has been filed on behalf of the respondentpolice, by the learned Government Advocate appearing for the respondent. In the counter affidavit, it has been stated that pursuant to the direction given by this Court, an enquiry was conducted by the Police and the Police came to the conclusion that the dispute between the parties is purely civil in nature and no cognizable offence has been shown in the enquiry. Hence, the complaint given by the petitioner was closed by the Police. Thus, it is submitted by the learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side), appearing for the respondent that the order of this Court has been duly complied with by the respondent.

4.Pursuant to the order of this Court, an enquiry was conducted and the complaint of the petitioner was closed by the Police. If the petitioner is aggrieved, he has to work

out his further remedy in the manner known to law. Since the order of this Court has been complied with, nothing survives in this contempt petition and accordingly, the same is closed.
