Respondents Writ petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying this Court to issue a writ of Mandamus directing the respondents to implement the Special Grade Scales of Pay as indicated in Schedule -II of the Tamil Nadu Revised Scales of Pay Rules, 1998 at Rs.5500-9000 to the Petitioners Drivers from 01.01.1996 with all consequential monetary benefits and also to revise their pensionary benefits of the 2nd petitioner on that basis, pay all arrears within a stipulated time period.

ORDER

The present petition has been filed to direct the respondents to implement the Special Grade Scales of Pay as indicated in Schedule -II of the Tamil Nadu Revised Scales of https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

Pay Rules, 1998 at Rs.5500-9000 to the Petitioners Drivers from 01.01.1996 with all consequential monetary benefits and also to revise their pensionary benefits of the 2nd petitioner on that basis, pay all arrears within a stipulated time period.

2. The learned counsel for the petitioners submits that nothing survives for further adjudication in the present writ petition . However the learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that the petitioners has filed SLP before the Hon'ble Apex Court.

3.Recording the said submission made by the learned counsel for the petitioner, this writ petition is closed. There shall be no order as to costs. However liberty is granted to the petitioners to workout their remedy to the manner known to law.
