BHARATHIDASAN CRIMINAL MISCELLANEOUS PETITION No.4208 of 2021 IN CRL OP.2341/2021 RAMAN [ PETITIONER / ACCUSED-1 ] Vs STATE REP BY [ RESPONDENT / COMPLAINANT ] THE INSPECTOR OF POLICE, CENTRAL CRIME BRANCH, BAND FRAUD PREVENTION TEAM, VEPERY, CHENNAI.

CR.NO.139/2020 Petition praying that in the circumstances stated therein and in the affidavit filed therewith the High Court will be pleased to modify the condition in para No.6(a) ...the petitioner shall pay a sum of Rs.25,00,000/- (Rupees Twenty Five lakhs Only) within a period of six weeks from the date of releasing him from the prison, if the petitioner fails to comply that condition, the respondent is at liberty to file a petition for cancellation of bail in Crl.O.P.No.2341/2021 dated 10.02.2021.

Order : This petition coming on for orders upon perusing the petition and the filed in support thereof and upon hearing the arguments of M/S. J.RAMESH, Advocate for the Petitioner and of M/S.S.KARTHIKEYAN, Additional Public Prosecutor on behalf of the Respondent the court made the following order:- This petition is filed to modify the condition in para No.6(a) of the order made in Crl.O.P.No.2341 of 2021 dated 10.02.2021, the petitioner shall pay a sum of Rs.25,00,000/- (Rupees Twenty Five Lakhs Only) within a period of six weeks from the date of releasing him from the prison, if the petitioner fails to comply that condition, the respondent is at liberty to file a petition for cancellation of bail.

2.The learned counsel for the petitioner fairly submitted that the petitioner is ready to pay a sum of Rs.25,00,000/- (Rupees Twenty Five Lakhs Only) and he seeks time for payment of the said amount. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

3.Considering the above submission made by the learned counsel for the petitioner, four weeks time is granted from today (i.e. 01.04.2021) to the petitioner to deposit a sum of Rs.25,00,000/- (Rupees Twenty Five Lakhs Only) to the credit of Crime No.139 of 2020, before the concerned Magistrate and to execute the sureties as directed by this Court.
