ORDER

The respondent herein has filed a petition in OP.No.3711 of 2014 on the file of the Principal Family Court, Chennai for divorce, which is pending. At this stage, the present Civil Revision Petition has been filed for limited scope of disposal of the above

petition in OP.No..3711 of 2014 within the time framed by this Court.

2. According to the petitioner, the aforesaid suit has been filed in the year 2014. The petitioner has also filed applications in IA.Nos.1529 of 2016 and 778 of 2017, which are pending. Hence, the petitioner has filed the present Civil Revision Petition before this Court.

3. In view of the above facts, at this stage, considering the pending of the said OP for more than three years and the applications are pending, this court is inclined to direct the Principal Family Court, Chennai to dispose of the applications in IA.No.1529 of 2016 and IA.No.778 of 2017 as expeditiously as possible in accordance with law preferably within a period of three months from the date of receipt of a copy of this Order. Thereafter, after the disposal of the said applications, the Principal Family Court is also directed to dispose of the aforesaid OP as expeditiously as possible. No costs.
