Respondents Prayer : Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying for issuance of a writ of habeas corpus calling for the records in detention order C3.D.O.No.79/2014 dated 16.9.2014 on the file of the 1st respondent and quash the same and direct the respondents herein to produce the body of the petitioner's husband Sallapuri M/A 48 years son of Thanghan now confined in Central Prison, Vellore, before this Court and set him at liberty. O R D E R

The petitioner, who is the wife of the detenu, Sallapuri, son of Thanghan, aged about 48 years, has come forward with this petition challenging the detention order passed by the first respondent dated 16.9.2014 against her husband branding him as a "Goonda" under the Tamil Nadu Prevention of Dangerous Activities of Bootleggers, Drug Offenders, Forest Offenders, Goondas, Immoral Traffic Offenders, Sand Offenders, Slum Grabbers and Video Pirates Act, 1982 [Tamil Nadu Act 14 of 1982].

2.The learned Additional Public Prosecutor would submit that the order of detention passed by the 1st respondent as against the husband of the petitioner dated 16.9.2014 has been revoked by the Government in G.O. [Rt] No.6116, dated 19.11.2014 and he has also produced a copy of the said order.
