Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying for issuance of Writ of Habeas Corpus calling for the records relating to the detention order passed by the second respondent pertaining to the order made in B3/D.O.No.20/2020 dated 28.02.2020 detaining the detenue under 2 (b) of Tamil Nadu Act 14 of 1982, as a Goonda and quash the same and direct the respondent to produce the detenu Subash @ Subash Chandira Bose, S/o.Selvam, aged 25 years, who is detained at Central Prison, Vellore before this Court and set him at liberty. O R D E R

(Order of the court was made by N.KIRUBAKARAN.J.,) The matter was heard through "Video Conference". 2.The Petitioner challenges the order of detention in B3/D.O.No.20/2020 dated 28.02.2020 detaining her brother as "GOONDA", as contemplated under Section 2(f) of the Tamil Nadu Act 14 of 1982.

3.The learned Additional Public Prosecutor reports that the order of detention passed against the detenu has been revoked by the Government by its order in G.O. Rt.No.1834, Home, Prohibition ane Excise (IX) Department, dated 21.04.2020 and he has also produced a copy of the Government Order. Recording the same, this Habeas Corpus Petition is dismissed as infructuous.
