ORDER

This Criminal Original Petition has been filed to direct the respondent police to provide police protection as requested by the petitioner in his complaint dated 19.02.2019 acknowledged by the respondent police vide C.S.R. No.81 of 2019 dated 20.02.2019.

2. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Government Advocate (Criminal Side) for the respondent.

3. The learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that the permission was given by the PWD, letter No.JDO.3/F Lease Agreement/2339 M/Dated 31.12.2018, for constructing the culvert over his land, when the petitioner started constructing the culvert over his land, some of the persons again and again have been disrupting the construction activity. As such, on 19.02.2019, the petitioner approached the respondent police and sought for action against these persons and also sought for police protection for carrying out construction of culvert https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

across his land to reach the main road as permitted by the PWD department. The petitioner's complaint dated 19.02.2019 was duly acknowledged by the respondent police vide C.S.R.No.81 of 2019 dated 20.02.2019 but till date the respondent has neither taken any action against the said persons nor have provided any protection as requested by the petitioner.

4. Considering the facts and circumstances of the case, the respondent police is directed to consider the complaint made by the petitioner dated 19.02.2019 and pass orders on merits in accordance with law.

With the above direction, this Criminal Original Petition disposed of.
