Application No.33 of 2014(SZ) dated 22.04.2015 and quash the same and forbearing the respondents from implementing the erection of 400KV DC Line on Multicircuit towers from Kalivanthapattu 400 KV SS to proposed Ottiyambakkam SS without complying Section 68(1) of Electricity Act, 2003, regulations 64 and 65 of Central Electricity Authority (Measures relating to safety and electric supply) 2010 and the provisions of Right to Fair Compensation and Transparency in Land Acquisition, Rehabilitation and Resettlement Act, 2013. O R D E R
(The Order of the Court was made by The Hon'ble The Chief Justice) In view of the Judgment of the Honourable Supreme Court in Civil Appeal No.7400 of 2013 (Union of India and Others vs. Major General Shri Kant Sharma and another) decided on 11.03.2015, learned counsel for the petitioner seeks to withdraw the present petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, to exercise the statutory right under Section 22 of the National Green Tribunal Act, 2010.
2.The writ petition accordingly stands dismissed as withdrawn in terms of the aforesaid. No costs.
3. The original certified copy of the impugned order be returned to the petitioner on the petitioner replacing the same with the photocopy.
