ORDER

This Court, while disposing of the writ petition in W.P.No.3510 of 2016, by order dated 01.02.2016, directed the respondent to consider the representation of the petitioners dated 12.12.2014 with regard to the issuance of the No Objection Certification purely on merits and in accordance with law and pass appropriate orders thereon, within a period of six weeks.

2.Now, the present contempt petition has been filed by the petitioners alleging non-compliance of the said order dated 01.02.2016 passed by this Court.

3.Today, when the matter is taken up, the learned counsel for the respondent, by producing a copy of the proceedings dated 16.07.2018 issued by the respondent, submitted that on the representation made by the petitioner, the respondent has passed an order rejecting the claim of the petitioner. Thus, he submitted that the order of this Court has been duly complied with by the respondent.

4.Since the order of this Court has been complied with, nothing survives in the present contempt petition. Hence, the Contempt Petition is closed. However, the

petitioner is at liberty to challenge the order passed by the respondent in the manner known to law, if he so desires. Consequently, connected Sub-Application is closed.
