Respondent Prayer:- Writ petition has been filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying for the issuance directing the respondent to conduct the enquiry along with the Research Officer who has intimate knowledge in identifying the tribes/ anthropologist in respect of Konda Reddy community and issue the community certificates to petitioners children namely L.Raghu L.Vishal and pass orders based on petitioner application dated on 23.01.2018.

ORDER
[Order of the Court was made by M.SATHYANARAYANAN, J.] The petitioner claims that he belongs to Hindu Scheduled Tribe Konda Reddy Community by virtue of Certificate dated 21.07.1987, issued by the Tahsildar, Mettur, based on which, the petitioner had filed an application dated 23.09.2019, praying for issuance of Community Certificate for his minor sons, namely, Mr.L.Rahul and Mr.L.Vishal, for the purpose of education and according to the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner, though reminder was already submitted on 09.10.2019, the respondent is yet to take a call on the said application / representation and therefore prays for appropriate orders.
2. Ms.R.J.Radhika, learned Government Advocate accepts notice on behalf of the respondent.
3. Though the petitioner prays for a larger relief, this Court in the light of the above facts and circumstances and without going into the merits of the claim projected by the petitioner, either in his representation or in this
Writ Petition, directs the respondent to consider and dispose of the application / representations dated 23.09.2019 and 09.10.2019, on merits and in accordance with law and pass appropriate orders, within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order and communicate the decision taken, to the petitioner.
