This writ petition has been filed for the issue of a writ of mandamus directing the respondent to consider the representation made by the petitioner on 13.02.2025, wherein the petitioner is seeking for the funds under the PMAY scheme to construct a house.

2. When the matter was taken up for hearing today, the learned Government Advocate appearing for the respondent, produced written instructions received from the District Collector. On going through the same, it is seen that the request made by the petitioner has been rejected and to substantiate the same, the communication made by the Executive Engineer to the District Collector, dated 29.04.2025 and also the communication given to the petitioner by the Executive Engineer dated 24.06.2025, were placed before this Court.

3. A copy of both the above communications was also served on the learned counsel for the petitioner.

4. In view of the above, the relief as sought for by the petitioner, cannot be granted by this Court. If the petitioner is aggrieved by the decision taken by the authority, it is left open to the petitioner to challenge the same in the manner known to law.

The writ petition is disposed of in the above manner. No costs. 22.08.2025 gya 2/4
