Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, praying to issue a WRIT OF HABEAS CORPUS calling for the records in D.O.No.16/2021-C2, passed by the 2nd respondent on 09.03.2021 and set aside the same and direct the respondents to produce the detenue viz., Santhi, W/o.Late Manokaran, aged about 57 years, who is now detained in Special Prison for Women, Vellore, before this Hon'ble Court and set her at liberty forthwith.

O R D E R

[Order of the Court was made by R.N.MANJULA, J.] The petitioner challenges the impugned order of detention in D.O.No.16/2021-C2 dated 09.03.2021, detaining her sister as "Bootlegger" under Section 2(b) of Tamil Nadu Act 14 of 1982.

2. The learned Government Advocate (Crl. Side) submitted that the order of detention passed against the detenue has been revoked by the Government by its order in G.O.Rt.No.1898, Home, Prohibition and Excise (XI) Department, dated 26.04.2021 and he has also produced a copy of the said Government Order. Recording the same, this Habeas Corpus Petition stands closed.
