This petition has been filed to condone the delay of 186 days in filing the above Criminal Appeal, against the order of conviction passed by the Special Court for the exclusive trial of POCSO Act cases at Salem in Spl.S.C.No.99 of 2020 dated 16.06.2022.

2.Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Government Advocate(crl.side) appearing for the respondent.

3.Being satisfied with the reasons assigned in the affidavit filed along with the petition, this Court is inclined to allow the petition.

4.Accordingly, this petition is allowed.
