This petition has been filed to call for the records and quash the FIR registered in Cr.No.34 of 2010, on the file of the Inspector of Police, District Crime Branch, Coimbatore.

2. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioners, the learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the State and the learned counsel for the de facto complainant.

3. When the matter was taken up for hearing, learned Additional Public Prosecutor submitted that investigation in Cr.No.34 of 2010 has been completed and the case has been closed as "mistake of fact" and the closure report has also been filed before the Judicial Magistrate No.VI, Coimbatore, as early as 20.08.2011.
