(Order of the Court was made by The Hon'ble Chief Justice) The prayer made in the present petition is for a Writ of Mandamus to direct the 1st respondent to take appropriate action not to extend the lease period in favour of the 4th respondent except in accordance with the procedure set out in Section 25(1) of the Hindu Religious Institutions Act.

2.Learned counsel for the first and second respondents have no quibble with this proposition as they say that the lease will not be extended except in accordance with the procedure set out in Section 25(1) of The Puducherry Hindu Religious Institutions Act, 1972. 3.Therefore, the said statement is taken on record. Writ Petition, accordingly, stands disposed of. No costs. Consequently, M.P.No.1 of 2015 stands closed.
