ORDER

Heard the learned counsel for the revision petitioner and the respondent.

2. When the matter is taken up for hearing today, both the learned counsel submitted that a Memo of Compromise dated 26.06.2021duly signed by both the parties with their respective counsels has been filed before this Court. The relevant portion of the Memo of Compromise is extracted below: "2. In pursuance of the intervention of friends, the parties herein have resolved to put an end to the dispute. The memorandum of compromise is as hereunder: https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

a. That the petitioner herein shall handover vacant possession of the premises on 28.06.2021 and will remit the cheque of Rs.10,00,000/- which was issued on 12.03.2021.

b.

That the respondent herein will make a wire transfer of Rs.10,00,000/- to the account of the petitioner on 28.06.2021.

c.

That the petitioner will pay the maintenance charges, the electricity bill until 28.06.2021 and will bear all cost of damages if any, caused by the petitioner.

d.

By this memorandum of compromise, it is made clear that neither of the parties shall have any claim over the other and the respondent waives her right of claiming fair rent fixed in RCOP No.646 of 2015 on the file of he XVI Small Causes Court, Chennai, as confirmed in RCA No.257 of 2018 on the file of the VIII Court of Small Causes Court, Madras."

3. The said Memorandum of Compromise is recorded. Therefore, nothing survives for consideration in this Civil Revision Petition and accordingly, the same is dismissed. No order as to costs.
