ORDER

The Writ Petition is filed seeking to issue a writ of declaration declaring that the entire acquisition proceedings in respect of Survey No.87/2B, Alapakkam Village, Chengalpattu Taluk, Kancheepuram Town, to an extent of 2.27 acres, stands lapsed, since the Award No.1 of 2001 dated 12.10.2001 is beyond the period of limitation as prescribed in Section 11-A of the Land Acquisition Act, 1894.

2. Since this Court had allowed W.P.No.4087 of 2018 today, the present Writ Petition pertaining to the very same land acquisition proceedings, shall also stand allowed in the same terms. There shall be no order as to costs. Consequently, the miscellaneous petition is closed. 15.12.2023 (3/4) ksa-2 2/4
