ORDER

This Writ Petition has been filed seeking for issuance of a writ of mandamus, directing the respondents 4 and 5 to sponsor the name of the

petitioner for the post of Assistant Engineer under M.E. Qualification in Tamil Nadu Pollution Control Board by considering the representation dated 04.11.2013 submitted by the petitioner.

2. The petitioner was aged about 45 years, by the date of filing the present writ petition and now he is aged about 55 years. It is not clear whether the petitioner is still interested to pursue the claim made in the present writ petition or not? In case, if the petitioner is serious in pursuing the relief sought for in this writ petition, the petitioner is granted liberty to submit fresh representation before the respondents 4 and 5 by making necessary claim. In case, if any such representation is submitted by the petitioner, within a period six (6) weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order, the respondents 4 and 5 shall consider the name of the petitioner for sponsoring to the post of Assistant Engineer under M.E. Qualification in the Tamil Nadu Pollution Control Board, subject to satisfying eligibility criteria, within a period of eight (8) weeks from the date of submission of the said representation by the petitioner.
