ORDER
(Order of the Court was made by M.S.RAMESH, J.) This Writ Petition has been filed seeking for a Writ of Certiorarified Mandamus directing the respondents to call for the records pertaining to the impugned order G.O(D).No.738 issued by the 1st respondents dated 05.06.2019 and quash the same and consequently direct the respondents to release the detenue, Jakir Hussain, S/o.Habib Khan, Convict No.4409, aged about 46 years, prematurely, confined at Central Prison, Puzhal-1, Chennai in the light of the G.O No.1326 dated 12.9.2007, G.O.(Ms).No.1155 dated 11.09.2008 and G.O.(Ms).No.64 dated 01.02.2018. 2.Recording the statement of the learned Additional Public Prosecutor that the Government had already passed orders in G.O.(Ms).No.75 dated
05.02.2024, granting remission for the unexpired portion of the sentence of imprisonment of life and released the convict prisoner, Jakir Hussain S/o. Habib Khan, the present prayer sought for in the Writ Petition has become infructuous.
