PRAYER: Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, praying for a Writ of Mandamus, to direct the respondents to consider the petitioner's representation dated 12.03.2021 and release the petitioner's husband namely Soundarpandian @ Pandiyan, son of Irusan, aged 50 years, Convict Prisoner, Central Prison, Cuddalore, on 30 days ordinary leave. [Order of the Court was made by P.N.PRAKASH, J.] This petition has been filed seeking direction to the respondents to consider the petitioner's representation dated 12.03.2021 and release her husband viz. Soundarpandian @ Pandiyan, who is detained at Central Prison, Cuddalore, on 30 days ordinary leave.

2. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondents.

3. Taking into consideration the fact that the marriage of the detenu's daughter is fixed on 25.04.2021, we direct the respondents to consider the representation dated 12.03.2021 submitted on behalf of the detenu for leave and pass appropriate orders thereon on or before 20.04.2021.

4. With the above direction, this Writ Petition is disposed of. No costs.
