ORDER

(This case has been heard through video conference) This Criminal Original petition has been filed seeking for a direction to respondent to record the looted articles based upon the confession statement given by the accused in connection with SC No.140 of 2017 in Crime No.8 of 2013 pending on the file of the District and Sessions Court, Mahila Court, Tiruvarur.

2. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondent.

3. Today, when the petition came up for hearing, the learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondent would submit that in respect of petition mentioned case, a charge sheet has been filed in the year 2017 and thereafter, the case is still posted for the examination of LW1, in which the 1/2 https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

petitioner herein is a witness, i.e.,LW1. It is further submitted that except LW1, remaining witnesses have already been examined.

4. On a perusal, it reveals that the investigation is completed and now the same is in trial stage. Therefore nothing survives in this petition.

5. Recording the submissions made by the learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondent, this Criminal Original Petition stands dismissed. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is closed.
