Prayer :- Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of Constitution of India, praying to issue a Writ of Certiorarified Mandamus to call for the records relating to the impugned Notification published in the News Daily Thina Thanthi dated 15.11.2017 and the consequential Corrigendum dated 29.11.2017, inviting applications for the post of Guest Lecturer in Painting for handling Bachelor of Visual Arts Degree classes in the Fine Arts Department and quash the same and further direct the respondents

to appoint regular and qualified teaching faculties as per the recommendations of the 4th respondent University, as per UGC norms.

O R D E R

This Writ Petition has been filed questioning the Notification published in the News Daily Thina Thanthi dated 15.11.2017 and the consequential Corrigendum dated 29.11.2017, inviting applications for the post of Guest Lecturer in Painting for handling Bachelor of Visual Arts Degree classes in the Fine Arts Department and sought to quash the same.

2. In the affidavit filed in support of the Writ Petition, the Petitioner, who is not even employed in Bharathiar Palkalaikoodam, has submitted that in the 5th respondent institution, there is no vacancy in so far as Teaching Faculty is concerned and all the posts are filled up.

3. It is not known as to how the petitioner who is not even working in the respondents Palkalaikoodam, can come and say that there is no vacancy and therefore, the Notification issued has to be set side.

4. Finding that the petitioner has no locus standi to file this Writ Petition, the Writ Petition stands dismissed at the admission stage itself. No costs. Consequently, connected WMPs are closed.
