O R D E R

This contempt petition has been filed alleging the non-compliance of the order and direction issued by this Court in W.P.No.38535 of 2015 dated 21.12.2015.

2. The learned counsel appearing for the respondent has submitted that the petitioners had sent representation to the Managing Director, Tamil Nadu Express Transport Corporation Ltd., requesting to count the entire service of the petitioners' father, in view of the order passed in

I.D.No.143 of 1983, for calculating pensionary benefits.

3. It is further submitted that the respondent is not the competent authority and the petitioners have to make representation to the Financial Adviser & Chief Accounts Officer, Tamil Nadu State Express Transport Corporation Ltd., Pallavan Salai, Chennai and if fresh representation is made, the Financial Adviser & Chief Accounts Officer would consider the same and pass orders.

4. In view of the above submission of the learned counsel for the respondent, this petition is closed with liberty to the petitioner to make a fresh representation to the Financial Adviser & Chief Accounts Officer, Tamil Nadu State Express Transport Corporation Ltd., Pallavan Salai, Chennai, within a period of two weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. On such representation, the Finance Officer shall consider the same and pass orders on merits and in accordance with law within six weeks thereafter.
