ORDER
[Order of the Court was made by V.SIVAGNANAM, J.] Seeking a direction to the second respondent police to produce the petitioner's sister Vinitha, aged about 19 years, before this Court from the illegal custody of third respondent and to set her at liberty, the present habeas corpus petition has been filed.
2.It is the case of the petitioner that her sister Vinitha, https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/
aged about 19 years, had eloped with one Vijay (third respondent) and that the police are not taking effective steps to secure her.
3.Today, Mr.A.Krishnamoorthy, Sub Inspector of Police, H3 Maraimalai Nagar Police Station is present.
4.On instructions, learned Additional Public Prosecutor submitted that on the complaint given by the petitioner, a case in Maraimalai Nagar Police Station Crime No.45 of 2020 was registered for girl missing and Vinitha was secured by the police on 08.06.2020. During enquiry, it came to light that Vinitha got married to Vijay and therefore, she was set at liberty.
5.Recording the same, this habeas corpus petition stands closed.
